| Eligibility |
Age:
The candidate should have completed 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission. The age should not be more than 35 years.
Education:
a) Pre-University or Pre-Degree Course or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English as optional subjects with aggregate of 45% marks.
b) Candidates belonging to SC or ST category should have obtained minimum 40% marks.

- Hold a Diploma in GNM [ General Nursing & Midwifery ]
- Be a Registered Nurse

- Have passed pre university examination in Arts/Science/Commerce conducted by Department of Pre University Education, Karnataka State or its equivalent recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.

| Eligibility |
a) Pass in B.Sc Nursing (basic) with 55% marks and one year experience or PC.B.Sc candidates no such experience is required.
b) State Nursing Council Registration Certificate.

| Attendance, Progress and Conduct |

The examinations are conducted by the Rajiv Gandhi university Of Health sciences Karnataka, at the Institute during the first week of October every year. |
 |
Candidate failing in more then two subjects will not be promoted to the next year. |
 |
Candidate will not be admitted to the subsequent higher examination without passing all the papers in the previous examination. |
 |
If a candidate fails in the theory or practical exam he/ she has to re-appear for both. |
 |
Maximum three attempts including the first are permitted for passing each paper. |
 |
Maximum period to complete the course successfully should not exceed eight years. |
 |
Minimum of 80% attendance is required in theory and 100% in practical separately to be eligible for appearing the University Examination. |
 |
The selected candidates will have to furnish an undertaking to serve the Unity Health Complex as Assistant Lecturer or a Staff Nurse/ Clinical Instructor for a period of 12 Months, after a successful completion of the Course. |

Ragging is strictly prohibited. If any incident of ragging comes to the notice of the authority candidates will be expelled from the institution. |
